Winona-Ryder

Winona Ryder is the professionally-known name of Winona Laura Hoowitz. She was birthed in Winona Minnesota. The parents of Winona Ryder named her for the town she grew up in. Her father Michel Horowitz, and mother Cynthia Palmer are authors and editors. Ryder's father was from an ethnically Jewish family Ryder believes she is Jewish. The actress is the younger sister of Uria, and has half-siblings Jubal & Sunyata. Ryder was born in the United States and moved with her family to Mendocino County California at the age of seven. They didn't have electricity. Ryder read a lot due to the lack of television. Ryder began taking acting classes at the age of Ryder was 12, and was enrolled in classes at the American Conservatory Theatre. Ryder landed her first film role on the big screen in 1986 at the age of 15 older. Ryder endured bullying while in highschool. Her professional acting, she believed, would help her. Unfortunately, that did not happen. However, it didn't stop her from pursuing dreams. Ryder made her breakthrough in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice in the year 1988. Ryder had a successful role in various films. She was nominated for two Academy Awards one for her performance on The Age of Innocence (1993).
