Whitney Houston and Dana Bash

Whitney Elizabeth Houston is a performer that was born in Newark, New Jersey on the 9th August 1963. Their parents include gospel singers Cissy Houston(n e Emily Lee Drinkard) and John Russell Houston Jr. Whitney's cousin Dionne Warwick sings as well. In Newark, Whitney began singing in the church choir when she was a young child. at the age of 15, she joined her mother in the background vocals for Chaka's smash Im Every Woman from 1978. Her mother, Jermaine, and Lou Rawls were a few of those who she sang with. Also, she was a model for Seventeen magazine in the year 1981. Her work as the lead vocalist in New York funk group Material caught the eye of big record companies, like Arista who she signed in 1982 and stayed the rest of her career. The year 1985 saw Whitney Houston's debut album turned out to be the top-selling debut album ever. A number of hit singles, such as the hit songs Saving All My Love For You How Do I know You Give Good Love as well as The Most Beautiful Love of All were released from the album, setting her up to smash the Beatles record with seven consecutive US number ones. The album was sold out of 3 million copies in its first year in the US and went on to sell 25 million worldwide winning them the first six Grammies. The 1987 follow-up album Whitney which included the hits Where Do Broken Hearts Go and I Wanna Dance With Somebody built the foundation of her popularity, however it was the 1992 film The Bodyguard (1992) that sealed her place as one of the best-selling artists of all time. While the movie and the performances of the actress were not highly praised, the soundtrack album with her version of Dolly Parton's I Will Always Love You was her top album and single for a number of months. The album sold over 44 million copies across the globe. That same year she married the former New Edition singer Bobby Brown with whom she had her only child their daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown in March 1993. At this point that her much documented substance abuse began. By 1996 she was an everyday drug user.

Dana Bash is also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz and she has a job at CNN as a reporter, anchorwoman and political reporter. She has created shows for CNN, including Evans & Novak' Late Edition' and Inside Politics'. In terms of distinctions and awards Bash was previously included in the Women in Washington Power List which was published by Elle magazine. With her amazing anchoring and reportage skills she is admired by many young journalists in the business. The George Washington University grad is the most loving mom to her single child. She was married twice, and she is now single. Bash has a huge love for all of her fans.
